Other than being male and female? There are no differences. Yes, demons can feed from whomever. But the University has the feeders in place just to make sure there are people available to feed them. 

As for who knows about the species, all founding families and feeders know about the curse. Both groups know for certain that if someone has a founding family last name, they are one of the species. However, this doesn’t mean they know about everyone else  in the school. They are skeptical and easily figure out who everyone is, but they don’t know right away. 

Non-feeder humans have no clue, unless someone has told them.

Everyone else it is up to the RPer. This would be part of their backstory whether they know about the curse of the school or not and how much they know. But you can basically guess that most people don’t know what everyone is, because it’s supposed to be kept a secret.

No. The only species they can’t feed from without some kind if side effect is werewolves. Werewolf blood is like poison to vampires.

Dallas grew up as an only child with a single mom, in the heart of Detroit. He and his mother struggled for every penny they got. His mother always encouraged him to do well in school, which he did in the end. When he graduated, he got a full ride to college at High Gate, with a little condition. He must sustain the vampires at the school.  

Dallas is sarcastic, but a fun loving guy.Sometimes he drinks a little too much though.  He puts out a hard exterior so no one can hurt him like his father did by leaving.  When he loves, he loves hard. And when he hates, he hates hard also. He was a temper, and hates being a Feeder.

Evan comes from a large family line of vampires that prefer to raise generations of Feeders; its less hassle of breaking one in and the new Feeders grow up knowing their relationship with vampires before they reach of age to begin feeding them. Evan is the younger brother of Dustin Goolsby, a vampire that had taken an interest in David Karofsky back when he was in high school and believed him to be a valuable asset as a Feeder. Evan grew up knowing that one day, he would be made into a vampire like his brother and sister before him and embraced the idea well. He was raised mostly by his brother Dustin and went to the same high school that David Karofsky attended. He kept to himself then, focusing more on his talents in acting and music than worrying about the little things. When he was turned, Evan took to being a vampire quickly. He embraced the world and everything about it. From the power of compulsion to the blood. Evan was asked to transfer to Highgate University by his brother to keep an eye on David Karofsky. He agreed, knowing the school has a renowned musical and acting department. 

Though playful and charismatic, Evan is cocky and self-confident about himself. He knows what he likes and knows what he hates and once it’s put into his mind it’s hard to change his idea. If he doesn’t like you, you can never tell because he treats everyone equally on the surface while inside he’s plotting your death, if you get on his bad side. He’s never one to lower him into a battle of wits. He knows he’s sharp but believes flaunting it around is in poor taste. Though, like all vampires, he has a volatile temper that when set off, is hard to calm down. Mostly it’s when he hears that a Feeder is being mistreated. His mentality is set that though they are food, Feeders are like pets and should be loved, groomed and looked after.

As I am quite sure that you are already aware, the full moon is on Wednesday. While you may already have plans for that day and night, we here at Highgate want to help you as much as we can. There are rooms below the Recreation Center for you to lock yourself up in. We’ve had the unfortunate event happen where a werewolf has broken out during transformation, so we’ve increased security and have tested them to make sure that you will not be able to get out of the room.

Please respond to this e-mail and let us know what your plans are for the 30th. We know this is going to be a rough week and hope that you will seek the help that we are willing to provide.

Come on out to Open Mic Night this Friday, September 25th, starting at 6:30 pm in Central campus. There will be a cookout to accompany the event, with burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and plenty of other food and deserts to keep you all satisfied as long as the talent at Highgate wants to entertain.
