Highgate is re-opening as of right now! Old members of Highgate University RP can re-apply if they wish to do so. However, keep in mind that the new roleplay will be an original one and therefore we won’t accept canon fandom characters. Old members don’t have to do a para sample, just send us your new bio or if you were a OC, just re-apply with your old bio!

We hope to see many of you there!

Just a message to let you know that we’re not giving up on Highgate. We’ve had a little bit of trouble trying to get the admins together. Is anyone still interested?

One of our mods is on vacation and the other is going on vacation the following week.

We are working and trying to get things all set up.

So hang tight and once two of our three mods are online at the same time, we’ll start hammering more things out.

The admins have been talking and we have made an unanimous decision to reboot Highgate again. However this time, we are doing away with any fandom characters. Highgate will no longer be a university for supernatural creatures, but a gated community in the middle of nowhere for them. The same idea of keeping the outside world from knowing about the secret of the community will be in tact, but within Highgate that isn’t so. We will be changing some of the species characteristics and rules, so we will be asking you to take a look at those as we adjust them.

What does this mean for you in the RP?

We need you to decide if you would like to stick around and keep your FC. There will be a college in the community, so you can continue to be college-aged, but you don’t have to!

Let us know by Monday if you would like to keep your FC by sending a message to us. When we are ready to get your new bios and such, we will let you know.

Until then take your time in wrapping up anything you would like to with your characters now and decide if you would like to stick with us.

Kurt Hummel, a vampire? Nice one. That’s what most people would tell you if you asked them. They’d laugh or scoff before turning their back on you as if you just insulted them. With his angelic features, including a soft, musical voice, Kurt Hummel was far from your typical vampire image. But while he’ll tell you that his smooth skin was the work of a very careful skincare regimen, don’t believe anything he’ll tell you. It has to do more with the genetic transmutation that stops a human body’s growth and less with priceless products from under the counter. Kurt Hummel is a force to be reckoned with. He’s quiet but he has a presence that commands your attention.

No one really knows much about him. He’s very private, speaking to everyone and yet not. He’ll exchange pleasantries with you, talk about classes but don’t expect to learn anything about him or his private life. Kurt’s the sort of person everyone wants to be friends with, he’s charming, will laugh at your jokes or tell you straight away that he’d rather not talk to you. Snarky? Yes, he is but everyone loves him anyway. He’s a mystery and you know what they say about the moth being attracted by the fire: be careful not to burn your wings.

Highgate is a university for the most gifted young adult. But the university has a secret that it has been covering up since the mid 1600s that only a few humans have found out about involving a curse, vampires, werewolves, demons and magic. Yep! It has it’s lulls like every other RP, but I’d say it is fairly active. It depends on the time of day and day, but there’s usually someone on.

ooc: It was stated previously that male and females can room together if it was ran by staff. and given the green light. Also given that Kevin is gay, staff saw no issue with letting him room with a girl.
